The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, or Duomo, is at the heart of religious life. Its dome, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, is the largest structure of its type ever built of masonry. Visible to several kilometers away, it has become the symbol of the skyline of Florence. The cathedral was built on the foundations of the existing Church of Santa Reparata since 1296 and was consecrated in 1436 after the construction of the dome. In the same square where the cathedral is located arise then the Baptistery of San Giovanni and Giotto's Campanile. Also examples of extraordinary architectural mastery of time.
the crossing point of the Arno most scenic of Florence, immortalized in thousands of photographs. The view of the city that can be enjoyed from the Ponte Vecchio is incredibly fascinating at any time of day or night. On deck there are many gold shops whose interiors project a few meters to the river below. At the center, the rows of shops are interrupted and there are two wonderful terraces

  • We were in Florence for Easter. We had a great time. The staff was really friendly and helpful (a real tour guide!). Moreover, the rooms were comfortable and spacious and the service superb. It almost felt like a real hotel. In short, a pearl of the hostel!

  • After spending about a week in the hostel, I can say I had a great time. A humble hostel, located just a few meters from the bus stop, so perfect to visit the beautiful Florence with ease. Then the staff is friendly, amenable and understanding!

  • Room simple but comfortable especially for people who spend the day outside. In the morning there is the possibility to be satiated with the snacks made available and the service is very efficient. You can also reach the main quickly and quite easily. Recommended for a cheap holiday!
